Bank holiday Monday saw our owners and horses out in full force enjoying the fantastic hospitality at Southwell Racecourse.

Break The Silence or Eddie as he is known at home ensured the members of Winning Connections Racing enjoyed the taste of success

Eddie broke well and was soon close up on outer, he led well over 2f out, and held on gamely under a strong ride from Theodore Ladd.

Eddie is normally ridden at home by Richard Wheldon but Shanie Nicholson had taken over the reins whilst Richard had been on holiday.

Congratulations to the whole team and many thanks for all of their efforts at the races and at home ensuring all 13 runners were turned out to perfection and returned home safely. Thank's go to Southwell Racecourse for their fantastic hospitality. We are looking forward to the all weather season being back in full swing.

Today is a big day for the stable staff with Thirsk Racecourse hosting a chairty race for stable staff. Best of luck to reining champion Gareth Newmarch who rides Sans Souci Bay and to Daniel Bembridge who rides Break The Silence for Winning Connections Racing.
