Birthday Winner For Mrs Sharp
Medici Moon ensured owner Dorothy Sharp and her family experienced a birthday to remember when winning at Southwell Racecourse on Sunday 22nd October.
Medici Moon registered his first victory by taking the competitive looking 1m handicap. Medici Moon or 'Will' as he is known at home has been placed twice at Southwell earlier on in the year so it was great to see him get his head in front especially supporting Mr & Mrs Sharps famous colours on Mrs Sharps Birthday.
He took up a good position under jockey Patrick Pilley, travelled well and picked up inside the final furlong to stay on strongly to win comfortably.
A great result for owner breeder Mr Graham Amey who also bred stable winners Cock Of The North and Dr Red Eye.
Congratulations go to all connections including Mr & Mrs Sharp, Mr Peter Sweeting , Mr Steve Atkinson, Mr & Mrs Wylam and Mr Paul Dixon.
