Welcome to Scott Dixon Racing

"Dedicated To Your Success"

Welcome to the on-line home of Scott Dixon Racing. Scott is a racehorse trainer based at the picturesque Haygarth House Stud near Retford, Nottinghamshire.
Once the youngest trainer in Britain, Scott underlined his ambitions in his first year of training in 2012 by saddling a string of notable winners on the All-Weather and Turf and concluded his first year training by holding the highest strike rate at Epsom in the country with 44% winners to runners. He enjoyed a double at Ascot both ridden by Tom Queally and enjoyed success at courses the length and breadth of the country.
Scott continued to attract attention from the media during 2013 with his impressive results at the major courses around the country. Thunderball enjoyed a big win at the prestigious opening Lincoln meeting at Doncaster and started the turf season with a bang. Scott continued his upward curve with a hat-trick with Dr Red Eye completing the last two legs at the fabulous Chester Racecourse where he holds an enviable 25% strike rate. Scott also holds an impressive 50% strike rate at both The July course at Newmarket, and The Rowley Mile. Scott is happy to run your horses anywhere in order to achieve your success. Scott completed the turf season with an impressive tally of winners culminating in a big win at York with Threes Grand , alongside taking The Catterick Dash, Catterick's biggest race of the year with Even Stevens reaching an excellent prize money total and coming ahead in the trainers table of many much more established trainers with much larger yards. Scott has since been quietly working away on the all weather through the winter and continued to run a small string of all weather horses.

2014 could not have started any better, with a big win on New Year's Day for Even Stevens at Southwell. This put Scott on to the top spot No 1 on the trainers table. With bigger yards always chasing, it may have been a brief moment, but it is firmly in Scott's sights that this is a place he firmly desires to be, and with this in mind, he continued to push forward in 2014 with a super bunch of established horses and a small string of promising 2yo. The flat season at Doncaster opened for the team at Scott Dixon Racing with a bang. Cock of North winning "The Brocklesby" the first two year old race of the season, and his sterling efforts in Group Company throughout the season advertising the ability of Scott to select, train and plan not only the campaigns of established handicappers but also 2 year olds too. Scott continued to strive for success during 2014 and the team achieved their targets by increasing not only the number of winners totaling 35 with 29 second places, 27 third and 36 fourth placings, but also their prize money total too with just over £220k. These fantastic achievements, ensured that Scott Dixon was the leading trainer in the top 100 trainers in the country for a £1 stake with a whopping profit of £48.50.

2015 saw Scott Dixon racing on the leader boards, with our syndicate group The Paul J Dixon & Partners enjoying national success. The yard continued to push forward attracting a new yard sponsor in "Socialites" https://www.socialiteszero.com/ along with our supplement sponsor "Fine Fettle Feed" http://www.finefettlefeed.com/ . The yard yielded 29 winners during 2015 and the yard continued to drive forward after the flat season had ended and we enjoyed a plethora of winners on the all weather to add to our large tally of winners on the turf. Our yard sponsor's Socialites enjoyed success with their first racehorse winning a plus 10 race and enjoying a trip to Royal Ascot. Our owners enjoyed success throughout the country - as we happily go wherever your horses have the best chance of success and travel extensively throughout the country.

2016 sees us having the largest two year old string to date. New owners have been coming to the yard and investing in our team ethos. We have new syndicates alongside new owners and are very proud to have retained our existing and extremely loyal owners. We all strive hard to reap the benefits that only team spirit brings. No stone is left unturned - no task too large - no detail too small to be missed. Our all weather team of horses have been flourishing and our team have battled through the wettest winter experienced in recent times to keep the show on the road. Currently (Feb 10th 2016) we have amassed 12 winners with 10 second places, 10 third places and 16 fourth places. Just shy of 50% of our runners have hit the frame and the prize money for our owners. A great achievement to date this winter and we are as always hungry for more. We also very proud to keep our sponsorship for 2016 with the fantastic company - Socialites - the vaping experts.

Come along and join our team, others may boast of the past glories, but here at Scott Dixon Racing, we firmly have our eye on the future and hope that you our established owners and prospective new ones, will enjoy being part of that commitment, drive and determination to succeed, as we continue in our passion and mission to be"DEDICATED TO YOUR SUCCESS".
